美国白蛾核型多角体病毒( Hc N P V) 编码的几丁质酶 A( Chitinase A, Chi A) 基因定位在 Hind Ⅲ- 35kb 片段上。 D N A 测序表明,半胱氨酸蛋白酶( C P) 基因的5'上游反向存在 Chi A基因, Chi A 基因的 O R F 为1 662 个核苷酸,编码553 个氨基酸,5'、3'非编码区分别具有 T A A G 基序和 A A T A A Apoly( A+ ) 信号序列。同源性分析表明, Hc N P V 的 Chi A 与苜蓿丫纹夜蛾核型多角体病毒、家蚕核型多角体病毒的 Chi A ,在 D N A 水平上的同源性分别为753 % 、757 % ,在氨基酸水平上的同源性分别为750 % 、787 % ,与来自灵菌的 Chi A 比较,一致性氨基酸达51 % ,推测杆状病毒几丁质酶基因与细菌几丁质酶基因可能具有共同的祖先。
