2003年12月6日,由大北农集团主办,中国农业大学、中国农业科学院、科技部中国农村技术开发中心、农业部科技发展中心、中国农学会、《农民日报》社等多家单位协办的第三届大北农科技奖励颁奖大会在京隆重召开。全国政协副主席、全国工商联主席黄孟复,全国人大教科文卫委员会副主任朱丽兰,农业部、科技部等有关领导,以及素有“世界杂交水稻之父”之称的袁隆平院士等国内农业界的著名专家学者,人民日报社、新华社、中央电视台等新闻媒体200多人出席了本届颁奖大会。
