Objective: To investigate the effects of two kinds of health education methods on the health behaviors of fracture patients. Methods: 100 patients discharged from October 2011 to October 2012 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 50 cases in each group. During the hospitalization, both groups received systematic health education and discharge guidance. Patients in the observation group were enrolled in follow-up health education according to plan while the control group did not carry out planned return visits. One year later, the effect of health education on two groups of patients was compared. Results: One year after discharge, the patients in the observation group were significantly better than the control group (P <0.05), maintaining good living habits, insisting on functional exercise, insisting on taking the medicine and insisting on returning to the hospital on time, the difference was statistically significant . Conclusion: It is of great significance to improve the quality of life of patients by carrying out rehospital health education in planned manner, which can significantly improve the health behaviors of patients with fracture, enhance the awareness of patients’ health care and reduce the incidence of complications.
