于锡昭,汉族,1940年生于北京,花卉技师,现任北京市盆景协会副理事长兼秘书长、北京兰天龙腾园艺有限公司董事长。1961年,于锡昭进入园林部门专门从事菊花、大丽花等花的栽培实践工作,先后任职于地坛公园、日坛公园、中科院植物园等单位。1962年于锡昭开始从事菊花盆景的创作研究,在几十年的实践中,他首创以菊花作为盆景素材,将其在盆景中的陪衬地位上升成盆景的主体,并在长期的栽培过程中摸索出菊花老本多年存活的方法,还原了菊花木本之本性,使菊之主干在盆景中更显粗壮苍老,从而更具观赏价值。
