特定产品过渡性保障机制是许多世贸组织成员担心中国产品对其国内相关产业造成冲击,而在WTO法律框架下采取的特别保障机制。欧盟对中国产品采取的特别保障机制,具有相对温和的以及未对其本国产业提供WTO协议所允许的最大程度的保护。这一机制对欧盟和中国互有利弊。
The transitional safeguard mechanism for specific products is a special safeguard mechanism that many WTO members worry about the impact of Chinese products on their domestic related industries while under the WTO legal framework. The EU’s special safeguard mechanism for Chinese products is relatively mild and does not provide the maximum level of protection for its domestic industry as allowed by the WTO agreement. This mechanism has the pros and cons against the EU and China.
