重要机床铸件,除了要求机械强度以外,还要求具有很高的导轨硬度。对于重型机床,利用通常的经验公式和国家标准推荐的化学成分进行配料,不能满足硬度要求。本文叙述了铸铁五大元素的不同含量对铸铁机械强度和铸件硬度的影响。结合生产实践,引用新近的研究成果,说明控制碳硅比的重要性;对于机床铸件,锰是不可忽视的可调整因素;过分强调降低含硫量,对于孕育铸铁并不是始终有利的。为了提高大型机床铸件的导轨硬度,控制铸型的冷却速度,可以获得良好的效果。
