山东省曲阜市于2006年引进华美等8个苹果品种进行试栽。试栽结果表明,华美在山东省曲阜市以八棱海棠作砧木,平均单果重192.4 g,果实鲜红色,果肉乳黄色,肉质细脆,风味酸甜适口,品质上等,可溶性固形物含量14.00%;花序坐果率89.40%,果实7月底至8月初成熟;未发生苹果枝干轮纹病。可在当地推广。
