1979年,江苏石油勘探开发会战指挥部在东台县廉贻公社张岳庄荻3井井深2768.53—2770.28米井段的一筒灰色灰岩岩心中,采获了数量较多的三叶虫化石。经南京地质古生物研究所周志毅同志鉴定,有:Hanchungolithus multiseriatus(Endo)(照片1、2、4,头部;照片6,尾部)Trinodus hupehensis Lu(照片5、9,尾部),Ampyx yii Lu(照片3,头部),Megalaspides sp.(照片7,尾部;照片8,唇板)等。它们都是扬子区早奧陶世大湾组上部Glyptograptus austrodentatus带(即宁国阶第7笔石带)及其相当地层中常见的三叶虫。
In 1979, the headquarters of Jiangsu Oil Exploration and Development Campaign captured a large number of trilobite fossils in a gray-gray limestone core of well depth 2768.53-2770.28 m in well Zhangyizhuang Og 3, Liangye commune, Dongyi County. Identified by Comrade Zhou Zhiyi of the Institute of Geology and Palaeontology of Nanjing, are: Hanchungolithus multiseriatus (Endo) (Photos 1, 2, 4, Head; Photo 6, Tail) Trinodus hupehensis Lu (Photos 5, 9, Tail), Ampyx yii Lu ( Photo 3, Head), Megalaspides sp. (Photo 7, Tail; Photo 8, Lip) and more. They are all common trilobites in the Glyptograptus austrodentatus belt in the Upper Ordovician Dawan Formation in the Yangtze area (the 7th strait of the Ningguo Period) and its equivalent strata.
