应用物理气相沉积(P.V.D)法,在高速钢刀具表面上镀复化合物是国际上七十年代开始发展的一问新工艺,尤其是齿轮刀具的镀复更是近几年的事。由于经济效益显著,因此国外发展很快.它主要能使基体(高速钢)的强韧性与镀层(化合物)的高硬度、高耐磨性、小导热系数等特性有机地结合起来,充分发挥材料的潜力.它为刀具发展开创了一条的道路.本文介绍我所在高速钢刀具——齿轮滚刀、齿轮铣刀、车刀、立铣刀表面镀复钛化合物及进行切削加工的试验探索情况.
Application of physical vapor deposition (P.V.D) method, coating complex compounds on the surface of high-speed steel cutting tools is an international new technology developed in the seventies, especially the gear cutting tool coating is more recent thing. Due to its remarkable economic benefits, it has developed rapidly abroad, mainly combining the strength and toughness of the substrate (high speed steel) with the high hardness, high wear resistance and small thermal conductivity of the coating (compound) to give full play to the material It opens up a path for the development of cutting tools.This paper introduces the test and exploration of the high speed steel cutting tools - gear hobs, gear cutters, turning tools, end mills coated with titanium compound on the surface of cutting tools.
