Editor’s Note: Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy is one of the three largest art academies established in the country after Beijing Art Academy and Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy. In the course of more than half a century of development, Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Traditional Chinese Paintings has successively displayed a series of accomplished artists such as Fu Baoshi, Qian Songyan, Yaming, Song Wenzhi, Wei Zi Xi, Lv Fengzi, Chen Zhifu and Lin Sanzhi. With the remarkable achievements of the arts, Jiangsu Provincial Traditional Chinese Painting Academy, a contemporary Chinese painting academic highland, has been built and a core team of “New Jinling School of Painting” has been built. It has drawn wide attention and thought in the national painting circles
