网络外语教学具有多重优势和特点,它突出地表现为网络信息资源的丰富性,使传输的信息资源更加快捷、形象,使学习者的自主学习角色更加突出,而其中教师的角色也发生了多元变化。当今,网络环境下的外语教师集多元角色为一身,凸显其服务者、协调者、管理者和营销者的特色,单一的、传统的教学权威的角色被转变。要适应这种形势,外语教师必须从自身素养和能力方面得到相应的发展与提高。
