This article elaborates the current situation of building energy consumption and the necessity of building energy efficiency. It discusses that energy efficient residential buildings should be comprehensively considered in the aspects of overall design and so on. In different locations, the energy-saving measures taken are not the same, the study of regional technology is also the primary issue facing the key issues.
