“2000年全国普通高等学校招生工作总结会”于11月17日在广州召开。教育部副部长吕福源出席会议并发表了重要讲话。他在讲话中高度评价和充分肯定了今年的招生考试工作,并从如何面对国际竞争和迎接21世纪挑战的高度介绍了我国高等教育改革和发展的形势以及高考改革的重要意义。他强调高考改革要坚持按照“坚定不移、先立后破、积极稳妥、循序渐进”的原则进行。他还对今后高考改革尤其是高考内容改革提出了具体意见。
“The National Enrollment Meeting for Regular Colleges and Universities in 2000” was held in Guangzhou on November 17. Deputy Minister of Education Lu Fuyuan attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. In his speech, he spoke highly of and fully affirmed the enrollment examination work this year, and introduced the situation of the reform and development of higher education and the significance of the college entrance examination reform from the perspective of how to face international competition and meet the challenges of the 21st century. He stressed that the college entrance examination reform must adhere to the principle of “steadfast, first, later, active, steady, and gradual”. He also put forward specific opinions on the college entrance examination reform, especially the content reform of the college entrance examination.
