81岁的吕相友是吉林省柳河县人,1947年他参加了革命部队后不久又被选送到中国人民解放军在当地举办的摄影训练班学习,从此踏进了摄影之门。1957年,吕相友离开部队调到人民日报担任摄影记者。其后,他的主要精力专注于党和国家领导人的摄影采访活动,拍下了毛泽东、刘少奇、周恩来、邓小平等老一辈革命家的风采。下面是他对毛主席抽烟的点滴回忆——
The 81-year-old Lv Xiang-You was a Liuhe County native of Jilin Province. After he joined the revolutionary forces in 1947, he was sent to a photography training class run by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) on the ground shortly after he joined the revolutionary forces and entered the field of photography. In 1957, Lv Xiang You left the army transferred to the People’s Daily as a photojournalist. Since then, his main focus has been on photography interviews with the party and state leaders, and captured the demeanor of older generations of revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping.
