本世纪70年代末80年代初以来,世界各国出版界刮起了一股“电子出版风”,各种各样的电子出版物纷纷登场亮相,如CD—ROM、CD—I、Fl-oppy Disc、Bookman等等,与此同时,各国出版社纷纷组建电子出版部。一时间,电子出版成了人们的热门话题。似乎电子出版将取代传统的印刷出版,未来社会将是无纸的社会。但是进入90年代以来,印刷出版的图书数量却是有增无减,这是事实。

At the same time, publishing houses in various countries set up electronic publishing departments in succession. For a time, electronic publishing has become a hot topic for people. It seems that electronic publishing will replace the traditional printing and publishing, the future society will be a paperless society. However, since the 1990s, the number of printed and published books has been on the increase. This is a fact.
