作者来用B与RE-Si合金,对高Cr-Mn白口铸铁(13%Cr、14%Mn)进行综合变质处理,可使碳化物由粗大的、互相交错的杆簇群,变为彼此孤立的、平行分布的细杆,冲击韧性达ak=0.6~0.7kg·m/cm2。在高应力磨料磨损试验中,与Cr15Mo3相比,相对抗磨性达1.01; 在反复冲击磨料磨损试验中,相对抗磨性达0.95,而其成本比Cr15Mo3铸铁约低46%。试验和实践证明,经RE-B综合变质处理的高Cr-Mn白口铸铁,可以成为Cr15Mo3铸铁很好的代用材料。
