长江流域棉区春季多雨,梅雨季节长达3个月之久(农历3—5月),因梅雨而带来的问题是缺光、低温、渍水、病虫害。在这四个因素的影响下,若管理无方,棉苗即会不全,不匀,不齐,不壮,对棉花增产会造成不可补偿的损失。为了达到全苗、匀苗、齐苗、壮苗的目的,必须在苗期管理中实施下列几项主要技术措施。
The cotton in the Yangtze River valley is wet in spring and the rainy season lasts for 3 months (from March to May of lunar calendar). The problems caused by the rainy season are lack of light, low temperature, waterlogging, pests and diseases. Under the influence of these four factors, if there is no management, the cotton seedlings will be incomplete, uneven, not homogeneous and not strong, causing irreparable losses to cotton production. In order to achieve the full seedlings, uniform seedlings, Qi Miao, Zhuang Miao purposes, the management of seedlings must be implemented in the following several major technical measures.
