党的十一届三中全会以来,广州市二轻工业在“改革、开放、搞活”的总方针指引下,紧紧抓住扩大出口创汇这个“突破口”,促进了技术进步、产品优化和企业管理水平的提高,有力地带动了全系统工业生产持续稳定向前发展。1987年完成工业总产值28.38亿元,比上年增长22.59%,提前一个月完成年度生产计划,实现利润2.65亿元,增长30.6%,出口生产保持了上年旺盛的发展势头、创造历史新水平,全年完成出口交货值8.78亿元,增长达52%,出口创汇1.7亿美元,增长34.92%。广州二轻工业九年来的开放改革实践表明,只有敢于冲破小生产旧观念的束缚,不断增强出口创汇能力,积极参与国际经济技术交流,积极引进改造,才能加快日用消费品生产发展,增强二轻产品在国内外市场的竞争力。
