婚育年龄与优生是密切相关的,我国婚姻法明文规定:结婚年龄“男不得早于22岁,女不得早于20岁”。这是法定的最低结婚年龄,但却不是最理想、最科学的结婚年龄。目前,世界上许多国家规定的结婚年龄平均在25岁以上。我国优生学家认为,最佳结婚年龄男方应为25～27岁,女方为23～25岁。这是考虑到现代人性成熟及全身发育比古代较早之故。 生理学家研究认为,我国男女青年一般要在23～25岁才完全发育
