金代铸镜工艺在我国的铜镜史上占有一席之地。朝阳博物馆藏金代铜镜主要有:双鱼纹镜、双龙纹镜、童子戏莲镜、海兽铭文镜、海水龙纹镜、“常命富贵”四乳镜、“柳毅传书”故事镜、“吴牛喘月”仙人镜等。金代铜镜内容丰富,纹饰多样,为我们研究、考证金代历史以及女真人与汉文化的渊源关系提供了宝贵的实物资料。
