《桃姐》关注的是香港的老年社群——越来越多的老人院开在我们熟悉或不熟悉的地方,北角、深水埗、油麻地,与繁华的香港并行。如果不是许鞍华,像桃姐或者天水围这类其貌不扬的香港故事,怎么会有机会登上浮夸大片统治的大银幕?简单来说,《桃姐》讲述的是一位大家庭长大的少爷Roger,在侍奉家族60年的佣人桃姐中风并住进老人院之后,重新发现对方并彼此温暖的故事。电影根据嘉禾电影公司的制片人李恩霖自己的故事改编。
“Peach Sister” focuses on the elderly community in Hong Kong - more and more elderly homes are open to the familiar, unfamiliar places in North Point, Sham Shui Po and Yau Ma Tei, in parallel with the bustling Hong Kong. If it were not for Ann Hui, the unspeakable Hong Kong story like Peach or Tianshui, how would one have the chance to board the grand screen of exaggerated ruling regime? To put it simply, Peach is about a grown-up young man Roger, In the service of family 60 years maid peach sister stroke and admitted to the nursing home, rediscover each other and warm each other’s story. The movie is adapted from the story of Li Enlin, producer of Golden Harvest Studios.
