Epichlorohydrin is one of the main raw materials for the national defense industry and civilian industry. In the production process, epichlorohydrin itself and its intermediate product, allyl chloride, have an impact on the health of workers. Therefore, further studies on its toxicity have become urgent problems to be solved. In recent years, some people have proved that they have different degrees of damage to the nervous system, liver, kidney and heart through acute and subacute toxicity tests. And through chromosome aberration analysis and micronucleus test found that they can cause somatic chromosome damage. In this paper, a dominant lethal mutation test in mice was used to further investigate the potential mutagenic effects of epichlorohydrin and its intermediate allyl chloride in mammalian germ cells.
