漢字文化圈以中國為主體,包括了周邊國家中東北亞的韓國、日本,東南亞的越南等国。漢字流行,不但作為書面表達舆溝通的工具,同時也創作了大量的漠文作品。漢文文獻在漢字文化圈的發展存在着接受與變衍的歷程。本文關註敦煌文獻中的日用通俗字書,更將視野擴及越南漢文、喃字中有關蒙書、字書、類書一類通俗文獻。特別以越南編纂的日用字書《指南玉音解義》為例,將焦點凝聚在此書的性質、功能與編纂體制上,分別以敦煌文獻《俗務要名林》及《雜集時用要字》二種論述敦煌文獻日用字書及唐以後通俗類書、日用字書的發展;析論越南漠喃雙解字書《指南玉音解義》,以為其係繼承敦煌《俗務要名林》、《雜集時用要字》以及宋、元、明《碎金》系、明清《要用雜字》系一類小類書型之字書,並應越南實際需要而編纂的漠喃雙語的實用字書。此外,考察中國具實用性居家必備的通俗讀物,在輸入日、韓、越後,歷經傳抄流通,進而翻刻印行,甚至改編、仿作。此一文化傳播與接受的特殊现象,可資印證日用通俗字書在東亞漢字文化圈的容受,值得重視與深究。
