蜚声中外的惠山泥人,是无锡的著名特产,具有至少四百年的历史。惠山泥人以其传神写意闻名,与写实细腻的天津泥人张南北呼应,代表着我国民间泥塑艺术的最高水平。2006年5月20日,惠山泥人经国务院批准,被列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。目前,惠山泥人的保护工作已经受到了各级政府的重视,无锡市政府将惠山泥人打造成为了无锡市具有代表性的旅游纪念品,但是这一保护方式也带来了诸多严重问题。
Huishan Clay, famous both at home and abroad, is a famous specialty in Wuxi with at least four hundred years of history. Huishan clay figurines are famous for their vivid expression, echoing the delicate and pure Tianjin clay figurine Zhang Nanbei, representing the highest level of Chinese folk clay sculpture. May 20, 2006, Huishan clay man approved by the State Council, was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage. At present, Huishan Clay people’s protection work has received the attention of governments at all levels. The Wuxi municipal government will make Huishan Clay people become a representative tourist souvenir in Wuxi City. However, this protection method has also brought about many serious problems.
