本书作者为D.Marcuse,书中包括了大部分的光纤测量原理,但只限于光学技术而不包括机械测量。对读者要求的基础知识为马氏方程。无此基础的读者、虽然对讨论的细节不能体会,但从书中介绍的实际测量步骤的实现中可得到很多有用的信息。 第一章对光纤进行总的介绍,包括历史背景、光纤结构、单模光纤和多模光纤、渐变折射率光纤、光纤损耗、多模光纤中的模散和单模光纤中的色散。 第二章讲原理与物理概念,包括射线光学、WKB法、弱导模、损耗机理、模散与色散。
The book by D. Marcuse, the book includes most of the principle of optical fiber measurement, but only optical technology and does not include mechanical measurements. The basic knowledge of the reader’s requirements is the Markov equation. No reader of this foundation, while ignorant of the details of the discussion, draws a lot of useful information from the realization of the actual measurement steps presented in the book. Chapter I gives an overview of optical fibers, including historical background, fiber structure, singlemode and multimode fibers, graded-index fibers, fiber loss, dispersion in multimode fibers, and dispersion in single-mode fibers. The second chapter deals with the concepts of physics and physics, including ray optics, WKB method, weakly guided mode, loss mechanism, mode dispersion and dispersion.
