前不久,从电视里看到报道关于学生自杀事件的节目。一名中学生一贯成绩很好,因一点不顺心的事而割腕自杀。又一名小学生仅仅因为受到老师的批评而用红领巾上吊自杀。像类似的事件,在近几年的生活中不胜枚举。由此引发了许多教育界关于加强心理健康教育的呼声。而在1999年6月党中央、国务院召开的第三次全教会上,在《中共中央、国务院关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》中,再一次强调:“要加强学生心理健康教育,培养学生坚忍不拔的意志,艰苦奋斗的精神,增强青少年适应社会的能力。”我国在校学生大多数是独生子女,他们缺乏独立生活能力的锻炼,缺乏吃苦耐劳团结协作的精神,承受挫折的能力较差。早在1993年孙云晓在《夏令营的较量》一文中,就给我们提出了“我们的孩子是日本孩子的对手吗?”这样的警示。日本人为什么热衷于
