从近几年英语教学的整体情况来看,学生英语总体水平不断提高,但是使用英语进行交流的能力仍然很差。其主要原因就是多数高校在英语教学中只注重学生在词汇和语法等方面的能力,而忽略了语音教学。本文对大学英语教学的现状进行了分析,认为语音教学是大学英语教学的一块基石,应始终贯穿整个大学英语教学的过程中。教师要根据学生的具体情况,不断探索、研究教学方法,正确搞好语音教学,调动学生的积极性,使学生的英语水平不断提高。
From the overall situation of English teaching in recent years, the overall level of students’ English has been continuously improved, but their ability to communicate in English is still poor. The main reason is that most colleges and universities only focus on the ability of students in vocabulary and grammar in English teaching, while neglecting the teaching of pronunciation. This article analyzes the status quo of college English teaching and believes that phonetic teaching is a cornerstone of college English teaching and should always run through the process of college English teaching. According to the specific conditions of the students, teachers should constantly explore and study teaching methods, do well in phonetic teaching correctly, mobilize the enthusiasm of students, and make students’ English proficiency continuously improve.
