Objective To understand the distribution characteristics of 18 to 44-year-old cases of accidental injuries in the injury monitoring system in Fujian Province in 2015, and provide the basis for the development of injury prevention and control strategies and measures. Method Descriptive Analysis The data were analyzed using SPSS17.0 and EXCEL2007 for the data of 15-year-old and 44-year-old aged 18 ~ 44 years who were hospitalized for first time in Huishan County Huian monitoring system sentinel hospital due to accidental injury in 2015. The results of accidental injury accounted for 94.5% of the total number of injuries; 18 to 44-year-old accidental injury accounted for 44.7% of the total number of accidental injuries. The male / female ratio is 1.66. Accidental injuries among young adults are mainly distributed in roads and streets (37.75%), households (20.18%), industrial and construction sites (15.80%) and public places of residence (10.53%). In one day, the number of cases has four peaks, 8: 00-10: 00,13: 00-15: 00,17: 00-18: 00,23: 00-24: 00. The main activities at the time of accidental injuries were driving (36.20%), work (22.80%) and leisure activities (10.05%). The top five reasons were motor vehicle accident (31.01%), fall / fall (29.26%), knife / sharp injury (19.56%), blunt injury (10.88%) and non-motor vehicle accident (3.26%) respectively. Among them, severe accidental injuries were mainly concussion, cerebral contusion (48.00%) and fractures (44.00%), mainly due to motor vehicle accidents (76.00%). Conclusions The accidental injuries mainly occurred in the young and middle-aged population with low educational level. The accidental injuries among young and middle-aged were mainly distributed in the roads, streets and homes. The main causes were motor vehicle accidents, severe concussion, concussion and fracture main performance.
