从13岁主演第一部电影《牯岭街少年杀人事件》开始,张震便引起了台湾电影圈专业人士和影迷的关注。其中原因,除了因为他有一个声名显赫的老爸（台湾著名演员张国柱,曾主演过《欢颜》等上百部电影）外,更重要的原因是他那亦正亦邪、成熟中略带孩子气的特质是时下年轻艺人身上所欠缺的。近两年来,虽然台湾影坛不景气,但他还是拍了《春光乍泄》、《第一次亲密接触》、《卧虎藏龙》、《天下无双》等影片,尤其是后两部影片,更是在内地影迷当中掀起了一股强烈的“张震旋风”。出现在大家面前的张震,永远都是一副不爱理人的酷酷样,而他的内心也正如他的不羁外表一样,拒绝平庸、追求特立独行。或许,这就是象张震这样的台湾新新人类的另类特质吧！
