图书是承载知识与文化的重要载体,是高校知识资源储备中最重要的管理模块,因此,无论是哪一所高校,都会在图书管理方面进行十分细致、深入的研究。“数字化”是21世纪的代名词,该词汇不仅可以应用到生产、加工上,还能影响改变传统管理工作行为,依靠网络、信息系统,代替人力操作与检验核查等工作行为,使管理工作效率、质量大幅度提升。基于这些条件,笔者认为高校图书的数字化管理发展趋向是必然的,在落实方案和计划的途中,虽然也会遇到障碍和困难,但形式一旦达成,会给高校图书管理带来非常多的收益。
