久旱盼甘霖,改革开放后迎来了第一个西方大展:法国19世纪农村风景画展。轰动了整个大陆,包括遥远省市的所有美术工作者,都想来一开眼界。有的人没有路费,砸锅卖铁也要赶来京城。但展品限于19世纪及农村风景,而且大都是二三流作品。法国人自己感到并不能代表他们的高水平艺术,故在前言中委婉地说明展品是由中国方面挑选的。我们急于想了解原子弹时代的新科技,展出
