本刊于1987年第6期曾以S195型柴油机为例,介绍了单缸柴油机齿轮端面无标记的安装方法;今再以495A型柴油机为例,介绍多缸柴油机正时齿轮端面无标记的安装方法。多缸柴油机齿轮室有曲轴齿轮、配气凸轮轴齿轮、喷油泵齿轮、惰轮、机油泵齿轮、中间齿轮、风扇驱动齿轮等,因各机型的结构和型式不同,齿轮室里的齿轮个数也有所不同,但气阀的开闭时刻和供油时刻与曲轴转角(或活塞位置)都应保持正确关系,即所谓的配气正时和供油正时。
