Comrade Jiang Zemin’s speech at the General Assembly celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party is a programmatic document for building socialism with Chinese characteristics. This speech profoundly summed up the struggling course and basic experience of our party over the past 70 years, comprehensively expounded the solemn mission of contemporary Chinese communists and put forward the strict requirements of strengthening party building under the new historical conditions.
