单词拼写是2005年高考英语卷出现的新增题型,要求考生根据所提供的句子及提示(即英语首字母或单词的中文释义)写出单词的正确形式,使句子结构完整合理,意义明确。2005年浙江卷要求根据英语单词首字母写出单词,全国卷三则给出了单词的中文释义,都设了10小题,计10分。这一题型很多年没有在高考英语试卷中出现,学生缺乏足够的训练和恰当的解题思路,作为一名高三的英语老师,笔者发现在平时的训练中,学生这一大题的得分率是很低的。如何加强学生单词拼写的能力,这是个值得思考的问题。
