今年是英国著名导演阿尔弗雷德·希区柯克(1899—1980)逝世五周年。他从事电影工作达六十年之久。他于1925年正式执导了他的第一部影片《快乐园》,此后逐渐形成自己独特的导演风格;至1939年应邀去好莱坞以后,适逢爆发了战争,又因拍片工作的需要,便长期留在美国。 希区柯克一生导演过五十余部影片,以“悬念大师”著称。1979年获美国电影研究所“终身成就奖”。1980年1月1日受英国女王册封为爵士。1980年4月29日因病去世。希区柯克去世后的数年内,他的影片再度公演,特别是发行了他生前据说出于版权问题的考虑而扣发的五部影片[即《绳索》(1948)、《后窗》(1954)、《哈里的麻烦》(1955)、《知情太多的人》(1956,重拍片)和《眩晕》(1958)]。 在希区柯克逝世五年之际,我们发表两篇文章以资纪念:一篇是在上述五部影片发行后,伦敦《星期日泰晤士杂志》的一篇访问记(转译自1984年1月29日的《亚洲》杂志),作者采访的对象是主演上述影片中四部影片的美国著名演员詹姆士·史都华;另一篇是与希区柯克多次合作的著名美工师的文章。
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the death of Alfred Hitchcock, a famous English director (1899-1980). He has been in the film industry for 60 years. He formally directed his first film “Happy Garden” in 1925, and gradually formed his own unique style of director. After he was invited to Hollywood in 1939, it coincided with the outbreak of war and the need for filming, Stay in america Hitchcock director of his life directed more than 50 films, known as “master suspense”.
