中国研究人员近日在美国《国家科学院学报》上报告了一种高效、便携的太阳能海水淡化技术,能以高达80%的能源转换效率把海水转化成高质量的饮用水。负责研究的南京大学现代工程与应用科学学院教授朱嘉介绍说,太阳能海水淡化利用光蒸馏原理,无需其他能量即可产生淡水,因此为理想的海水淡化方案,但由于能量转换效率较低,一直无法大规模应用。
