继续医学教育是继毕业前教育之后,以学习新知识、新理论、新技术、新方法为重点,注重针对性、实用性和先进性,重视创造性思维培养的一种终身性的医学教育。作为医学信息集散地和知识传播前沿的医学图书馆在为医学科技人员更新业务知识、拓展学术视野、掌握最新医学理论、技术、方法等方面发挥着积极的作用。特别是在信息化高度发展的今天,如何探索建立符合新时期医学图书馆与继续医学教育的互动机制,充分发挥医学图书馆知识传播和宣传辅导作用,达到继续医学教育的目的,进而推动医学的发展有着重要的意义。
