近年来,随着我国国力的增强和国际地位的提升,中西方之间的文化交流渐趋密切,而其中作为中外文化交流重要组成部分的文学翻译日益受到人们的重视和关注。文学翻译,尤其是英语文学翻译除了对翻译人员的语言功底具有较高的要求外,还需要从业者了解并熟知中英双方的文化背景,自觉降低不同文化之间的差异性对文学翻译的影响。本文正是基于降低英语文学翻译中文化差异的消极作用这一初衷,通过分析文学翻译的基本原则、文化差异以及造成中英之间巨大文化鸿沟的原因,旨在探索出一条降低分歧、增加互信的英语文学翻译之路,也希冀这一研究能够为相关从业者和研究人员提供一定的借鉴和参考价值。
In recent years, with the improvement of China’s national strength and the enhancement of its international status, the cultural exchanges between China and the West have become closer and closer, and the literary translation as an important part of the cultural exchange between China and foreign countries has drawn increasing attention and attention from the people. Literary translation, especially English literary translation, in addition to having high requirements on the language skills of translators also requires practitioners to understand and be familiar with the cultural background of both China and Britain and consciously reduce the impact of the differences between different cultures on literary translation . This article is based on the original intention of reducing the negative effects of cultural differences in English literary translation. By analyzing the basic principles of literary translation, cultural differences and the huge cultural gap between China and Britain, this article aims to explore a way to reduce disagreement and increase mutual trust English translation of the literature, but also hope that this study can provide relevant reference for the relevant practitioners and researchers.
