增施有机肥,提高地力,是确保农业可持续发展的必然要求。稻草是我省主要的优质有机肥料,全省每年产干稻草250多亿公斤。目前不少地方焚烧稻草十分严重,1997年,我省仅晚稻就有27万公顷的稻草被烧掉。我们对大量的有机肥资源付之一炬,深表关切。现向大家推荐我厅高级农艺师危长宽同志撰写的《稻草是宝,切勿烧掉》一文,望能引起各地重视,尽快消除焚烧稻草现象。
Increasing organic manure and improving soil fertility are the inevitable requirements for ensuring the sustainable development of agriculture. Straw is the main high-quality organic fertilizer in our province. The province produces more than 2.5 billion kg of dried straw annually. At present, burning straw in many places is very serious. In 1997, only 270,000 hectares of straw was planted in late rice in our province. We are deeply concerned about the large amount of organic fertilizer resources that have been spent. It is now recommended to you to read the article “Straw is a treasure, do not burn out” written by a senior agronomist of our department, Chang Kuan-kwan. We hope that it will arouse the attention everywhere and eliminate the phenomenon of burning straw as soon as possible.
