为了适应金刚石钻探的需要，取消水泵的三通节门，避免钻进中泵量在泵压过大时从三通节门流失的弊病，我队机修工人和技术人员利用现用WX-125/60水泵（即WX-200型泵改小缸套型），加变速箱改装成功Jd型变量泵。从七八年三月试用于JU-1000型钻机，效果很好，很受工人欢迎。到七八年底，全队六台JU-1000型钻机已全部用上了Jd型变量泵，现将该泵介绍如下：
