2014年8月3日16时30分,云南省昭通市鲁甸县(北纬27.1度,东经103.3度)发生6.5级地震,震源深度12公里,震中位于鲁甸县龙头山镇。地震波及昭通市鲁甸县、昭阳区、巧家县和曲靖市会泽县等,造成重大人员伤亡和重大财产损失。位于灾区的昭通市档案馆、昭阳区档案馆和鲁甸县、巧家县档案馆以及机关、企事业单位档案室遭受损失损害,馆库、档案室受损,安全隐患十分突出,档案和职工的安全面临威胁。
