The diversification of marine survey methods has led to a corresponding change in marine research methods, which is also a challenge to the traditional marine survey equipment. How to treat the status and function of these equipments in the modern marine investigation and research and how they interrelate? This issue has drawn people’s attention. This article mainly makes a preliminary analysis of the situation in the United States, with the following superficial views for further
