Mrio Molina Mexican, born in Mexico City in 1943, is currently a professor of chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States. In 1974, he co-authored a paper with Sherwood Roland, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry with him, for a purely theoretical study in Nature, explaining the use of aerosols such as chlorofluorocarbons Industrial compounds pose a threat to the ozone layer around the Earth and can be catastrophic. He said his research efforts were initially criticized by some scientists and surprised and relieved at the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for environmental scientists like him.
