日本NTT宣布,应用超高速光信号处理技术进行的100 Gb/s时分多路复用光传输实验取得完全成功.为了实现21世纪的信息传输结构,各国都在研究利用光纤进行超高速光传输.目前,利用电子处理技术的实用的最高传输速率为2.4Gb/s,这一领域的研究已达到30~40 Gb/s的水平.但40 Gb/s或更高传输速率已不能用现在的电子信号处理技术进行处理,因此,需要光领域的处理技术.
NTT Japan announced that it has succeeded in 100 Gb / s time division multiplexing optical transmission using ultra-high speed optical signal processing technology. All countries are studying the use of optical fiber for ultra-high speed optical transmission in order to realize the 21st century information transmission structure. At present, the practical maximum transfer rate using electronic processing technology is 2.4Gb / s, and the research in this field has reached the level of 30 ~ 40Gb / s, but the transmission rate of 40Gb / s or higher can no longer be replaced by the current electronic Signal processing technology to deal with, therefore, the need for optical field processing technology.
