人们常说商场如战场,因此将用兵之道用于商战的研究者,海内外不乏其人,高增厦为其中的一位佼佼者.高增厦多年从事孙子兵法将用于商战的研究,曾主编《孙子兵法与市场经济》一书,并著有《孙子兵法与企业经营管理》等论文.将作为“世界古代第一兵书”的孙子兵法用于现代企业的经营管理,确实是一件超越时空的工作,既要对兵书的精义有透彻的理解,又要有现代企业管理的实践经验.纵览高增厦的研究成果,可以看出他正是兼备了这两方面的优势.所以读他的论文,不会有那种不联系实际夸夸其谈“纸上谈兵”的感觉.这与高增厦的个人经历有关.他出生于河北的农家,1951年参加工作,1956年转入军队,此后长期从事军队后勤和军事经济工作,做过总后司令部综合计划处长、局长和总后生产管理部副部长.十年来,高增厦在繁忙的工作之余,读书不缀,济览群书,刻苦钻研古今中外经济理论书籍,发表过八十余篇论文,参加编审各类书籍、材料近二百本.
