Mandibular coracoid fractures account for about 0.6% to 4.7% of facial fractures. Rapidis and other studies of 1789 cases of maxillofacial fractures, the coracoid fractures accounted for 2.9%, and all accompanied by the fracture of the cheekbones and other facial bone.
