随着现代农业的发展,化肥在农业生产中日益显示其重要作用。世界各国农业现代化的过程,是以先进的工业装备农业的过程。工业装备农业的渠道主要有二条:一是机械化,二是化学化。机械化可以大幅度提高农业劳动生产率;而单位面积产量的高与低,则主要由矿物营养、品种以及其他因素决定的。大量增施化肥是争取高产的重要措施之一。根据有关资料介绍,第二次世界大战以后,世界化肥产量大约每十年增加一倍;战后美国农业的增产,30—40%归因于增施化肥,而玉米的增产,有50—60%是增施化肥的结果。
With the development of modern agriculture, fertilizer has increasingly shown its important role in agricultural production.
