1962年,军委秘书长兼总参谋长罗瑞卿看了话剧《兵临城下》后,要我回部队工作.我调回总政创作组,发给我的军官身份证上,有国防部办公厅主任肖向荣的签字,并盖着总政治部主任罗荣桓的印章.我珍藏至今,以作纪念.1963年12月16日下午,罗荣桓元帅的心脏停止跳动,19日我和总政干部列队到劳动人民文化宫灵堂吊唁,望着罗帅的遗像,想起他对我的培养教育,感到无限的悲痛,止不住泪如泉涌.罗帅的伟大形象永远活在我的心中.
