Determination of blood and urine β_2 microglobulin (β_2M) is a sensitive and reliable indicator of changes in renal function. In some cases of pediatric primary glomerular disease blood and / or urinary β_2M showed varying degrees of elevation, suggesting a compromised glomerular and / or tubular function. In order to explore the relationship between the different pathological types and blood and urine β_2M changes, our hospital from January 1986 to August 1991 hospitalized 122 cases of primary glomerular disease in children with renal biopsy and simultaneous detection Blood, urine β_2M for control analysis, the results are reported as follows.
