数学是研究数量关系的一门科学。数学教学就是教育学生研究生活中的数量关系以解决生活中的实际问题。虽然解决的事件是真实可感的,但解决的过程是隐性的,需要抽象逻辑思维。对于以形象思维为主的小学生来说,就需要教师把隐性变显性,化抽象为直观,让学生在看得见、摸得着的操作中学数学、做数学、用数学。如何变与化呢?这就需要学具。学具在小学数学,特别是低段数学学习中更有巨大作用。下面,我结合实际,谈谈学具在小学数学教学中的作用。
